Executive Team
Dr.
Gerald Higginbotham
is LLIFE’s founder. He is
an educator, entrepreneur, and community activist who is also an airline
pilot of 18 years. He holds a certificate from the Joseph School of
Business and Entrepreneurship, and diplomas from Light Bible College and
Power Learning Systems in Information Age Development.
He also holds a BA in Psychology from California State
University, Northridge and a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies and Divinity from
the Jesus of Nazareth Church Ministries.
Dr.
Higginbotham has a long history of business development and community
activism. In 1991 he
developed a network of entrepreneurs who implemented and operated a
successful restaurant in the St. Louis area.
He was instrumental in introducing Financial Literacy education
to numerous faith-based organizations, and co-founded a successful wellness center in the Atlanta area.
Joyce
Coleman is
a writer, publisher, speaker and management consultant in the areas of
self esteem, customer-focused enterprise and peak performance.
She has developed and implemented immensely successful programs
for a Fortune 500 company, universities, and other organizations. Her
work includes the critically acclaimed memoir, Soul Stirrings: How
looking back gives each of us the freedom to move forward, a
companion Study Guide for grades 4-12, and an E-book, Write, Publish,
Prosper from What You Know.
She has
also authored business-oriented writings that are published widely on
the Internet.
Marcelle
Rhone has
over twenty years of experience in developing and implementing programs
in community development and Early Childhood Education, including
securing funding for new and existing programs. She
is
a project consultant in design, implementation, oversight and evaluation
of human development programs. She has fifteen years experience in
developing curricula for international and national organizations
related to educational attainment, culture and gender issues; fifteen
years experience facilitating structural development of organizations
and collaborative networks; and seventeen years of experience in
successful federal, state and private resource acquisition.
